FEMCO runs lean. A small senior team plans and manages every project, and the work in the field is done by trade partners we have long relationships with. We build the old way, as a team, where every trade cares about the project and the relationships, not just its own scope. We are always glad to meet subcontractors who work that way in multifamily, medical and commercial construction across the Carolinas.

What we look for

  • A team player: you finish on time and work with the other trades on the job, not against them
  • Licensed and insured for your trade in the states where you work
  • Crews that show up, keep the schedule and leave a clean, safe site
  • Straight answers on pricing, change orders and lead times
  • For affordable housing: comfort with Davis-Bacon wage rates and certified payroll
  • For medical work: experience working in occupied buildings, and with what imaging rooms require

Get on our bid list

Tell us about your company and we will keep you in mind for upcoming bids in your trades and area. When there is a project to bid, we will ask for your certificate of insurance and references.
