FEMCO is a small team, and we are not advertising a specific opening right now. That changes with the work, and when it does, we look at the people who have already reached out. Who we want to hear from

• Superintendents. People who lead the site: scheduling and sequencing the trades, coordinating inspections, and keeping the job safe, clean and on time.
• Project managers. Estimating, budgets, subcontractor coordination and client communication, from takeoff to turnover.
• Skilled tradespeople. Experienced hands for multifamily new construction and rehab, and for medical upfits in occupied buildings.

What the work involves

Our field leaders own their jobs. On a typical FEMCO project that means:

• Building the schedule and sequencing the work, and recovering it when something slips
• Scheduling subcontractors, consultants and vendors on the critical path
• Spotting conflicts early and bringing them to the project team
• Quality control and holding every subcontractor to their scope
• Coordinating inspections with the local jurisdiction
• Enforcing safety, health and environmental standards on site
• Keeping the job site clean and organized every day
• Punch lists through to completion

Medical work adds its own discipline: much of it happens inside hospitals and medical offices that stay open, with patients being seen on the other side of the wall.
