Most of what FEMCO builds falls into three kinds of work: new apartment communities from the ground up, rehabs of existing ones, and upfits of medical and commercial space.
On the multifamily side that means market-rate and LIHTC / affordable communities, both new and rehabbed, such as Love Mill Apartments and Weston Landings in Whiteville and Castlebar Village in Mooresville.
On the medical side it means imaging suites and medical offices, such as Novant Health Imaging Matthews and Open MRI & Imaging in Asheville. We balance the schedule against specialized equipment delivery dates, and we work closely with the design team and facility managers. Consistent employee and subcontractor relationships keep the impact on a practice’s daily operations and its patients as small as possible.
